Distortion-Free Marking on Difficult Surfaces
The KEYENCE ML-Z9500 CO2 Laser Marker provides distortion-free marking of irregularly shaped, different height and size products in a 300 x 300 mm area. Mechanical devices are not required to index the marker or products. The new marker features the world's first simultaneous 3-axis X, Y and Z beam control with a 42-mm variable focal length and variable spot size. The ultra-large marking area enables production line marking of large numbers of products.

Should the G Help the Big Three?
John Sprovieri, Editor

Proponents of a bailout argue that failing to help the automakers will result in the loss of millions of jobs. However, opponents decry the proposed bailout as bad for business and patently unfair.
