ROSEMONT, IL-This year's Assembly Technology Expo Conference includes a half-dozen sessions organized by the ASSEMBLY Magazine editorial staff, covering everything from Six Sigma to lean manufacturing to offshoring to money-saving energy efficiency on the shop floor. Speakers include professionals with practical real-world experience from organizations such as Ford Motor Co., ComEd electricity, Boeing, and the Nano Science and Technology Institute of Cambridge, MA.

The Assembly Technology Expo, now in its 26th year, takes place Sept. 27-29 at the Donald E. Stephens exhibition center in Rosemont, IL, immediately adjacent to Chicago's O'Hare airport. Conference sessions are set for Sept. 26-29, with those organized by the ASSEMBLY editorial scheduled for the 27th and 28th.
