Assembly Lines: Automatica Draws a Crowd
MUNICH, GERMANY-More than 17,000 engineers from 60 countries attended the first Automatica trade show in June.
Some 566 exhibitors from 22 countries displayed the latest technology in robotics, machine vision, and automated assembly and handling machinery. "Automatica passed its test with flying colors," says Dieter Heuser, director of marketing for automation with Bosch Rexroth Group (Lohr, Germany), which exhibited at the show.
Sponsored by the European Factory Automation Committee, Automatica included a technical conference program and a working assembly line.
The next show will be held June 13-16, 2006, in Munich. For more information, visit www.automatica-munich.com.
