Chrysler to Restart Viper Assembly

AUBURN HILLS, MI-Chrysler plans to reopen its Conner Avenue #Assembly Plant in Detroit to produce the next-generation SRT Viper. The decision is expected to create about 150 jobs. MORE

The company has a 12,000-square-foot assembly area and employs 20 full-time harness assemblers - far cry from its early days back in 1986, when founder Chuck Hall and various family members assembled harnesses in his garage.
