The first contract will be completed, shipped and installed over the next 6 months. It includes a number of individual automated manufacturing and test systems. These systems will feature two ATS Supertrak intelligent conveyor systems, Superbot material handling robots and component feeders for high-volume parts handling and improved performance.
The second contract is also scheduled for completion over the next 6 months. It comprises two custom-designed automated assembly systems that will assemble an automotive subsystem.
"These assignments are just the latest example of growing marketplace acceptance for our next generation standard products and technologies, and the mutual value they provide to both our customers and to ATS," says Klaus Woerner, ATS president and chief executive officer.
