CLEVELAND--A new seminar details various methods of fastening aluminum parts.

Developed by the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI), the seminar includes lectures on the following topics: designing aluminum attachments; adhesive bonding; clinch nuts and studs; fastener finishes; joining sheet metal parts by punch and die; mechanical fastening with ultrasonics; pierce riveting; thread-rolling fasteners; and blind fasteners.

The seminar will be held May 9 at the Michigan State University Management Education Center in Troy, MI. The seminar costs $275 for IFI members and $375 for nonmembers.
