Assembly Technology Expo, now in its 26th year, takes place Sept. 27-29 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, adjacent to Chicago's O'Hare airport. Conference sessions are set for Sept. 26-29, with those organized by the ASSEMBLY editorial staff scheduled for 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, and Wednesday, Sept. 28.
Tuesday's sessions include the Six Sigma Summit: Case Studies in Success, featuring experienced practitioners from Ford Motor Co., Boeing and GE-FANUC; Saving Energy on the Assembly Line, a practical program featuring ComEd engineers; and Nanotechnology Is Now!, a look at how nanotechnology is fast becoming part of daily life in the manufacturing world.
