ALBANY, OR--ESAB Welding and Cutting Products (Florence, SC) has replaced much of the Linn-Benton Community College's aging collection of welding gas regulators, cutting torches and welding tips with state-of-the-art equipment.

Valued at approximately $44,000, the donation includes more than 40 tank and welding booth gas regulators and cutting torches used in the college's auto technology, collision repair, metallurgy, refrigeration and welding shops. ESAB also recycled the worn-out equipment its donation replaced, packing off more than 740 pounds of brass to a recycling smelter.
