Lean manufacturing expert and Penn State University professor Gerald I. Susman, Ph.D., will lead a discussion on "Managing the Change Process in Lean Manufacturing" as part of ASSEMBLY magazine's second lean manufacturing webinar, set for Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 12 p.m. EST.
Dr. Susman is the Robert and Judith Klein Professor of Management at Pennsylvania State University, as well as associate dean for research and director at the university's Center for the Management of Technological and Organizational Change. He has a B.A. and M.A. in psychology, and a Ph.D. in business administration, all from UCLA. He has written extensively and consulted with many companies undergoing organizational and technological change. His books include Integrating Design and Manufacturing for Competitive Advantage and Autonomy at Work: A Sociotechnical Analysis of Participative Management.
