TRUMPF to Host Virtual In-House Event
FARMINGTON, CT—TRUMPF will display the latest technology for laser cutting, welding and marking at a virtual event May 27-29.
The virtual event is being held in lieu of INTECH, the live, in-house event that the company typically hosts at its headquarters in Ditzingen, Germany, each March. This year’s event was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“We are excited that, despite the coronavirus pandemic, we found an alternative solution to present our new machines and systems to a broad audience,” says Reinhold Groß, head of sales and services for TRUMPF.
TRUMPF will now show its new and existing products in virtual showrooms. Engineers can view machine demonstrations and product videos via an exclusively designed online platform. They will also be able to interact with TRUMPF’s product experts via a live-chat function.
Among the new products that will be on display are the TruArc Weld 1000, an automated arc welding system; the TruLaser Tube 3000 laser cutting machine; and the TruLaser Station 7000 3D laser welding system.
