GE Healthcare to Invest $50 Million in Wisconsin Assembly Plant
WEST MILWAUKEE, WI—GE Healthcare plans to invest $50 million in a new assembly plant here to make CT scanners and other products. The facility could eventually employ more than 1,200 people as part of a proposed plan to consolidate the company’s operations in Wisconsin.
The plan would include moving roughly 1,500 employees from its offices and plant in Waukesha, WI, and other sites to West Milwaukee and Wauwatosa, WI, over several years.
