LOUISVILLE, KY—Ford Motor Co. will once again shut down its Louisville Assembly Plant for a week, this time due to weather-related parts shortages.
The latest closure will take place the week of Feb. 22 and is unrelated to the global semiconductor shortage that shut down the plant for two weeks in January and the first week of February. “The unseasonably cold weather throughout much of North America continues to affect operations at some of our plants in the region,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
