Ford Kicks Off Bronco Production at Revamped, Upgraded MI Plant
WAYNE, MI—Ford has invested $750 million and added approximately 2,700 direct jobs at its assembly plant here to build the sixth-generation Bronco.
Measuring 1.7-million square feet, the Modification Center makes Bronco two- and four-door model customizations including safari bar, roof racks, exterior graphic packages and additional accessories.
Finished vehicles are then sent to Ford dealerships across America. More than 125,000 Broncos orders have been placed, with a total of more than 190,000 reservations in the U.S. and Canada to date.
