Kubota to Spend $140 Million on Georgia Assembly Plant, Hire 500
GAINESVILLE, GA— Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp. plans to invest $140 million to build a new assembly plant here, adding 500 workers to the 3,000 it already employs in the region.
The new factory, which will make front-end loaders, is expected to open in 2024. Kubota already makes front-end loaders at a factory in Jefferson, GA, about 30 miles away, but said it needs to free up capacity at the existing facility to make attachments and implements for tractors and construction equipment.
