Balluff’s new IDENT sensor is the first code reader on the market to offer IO-Link.
No need for separate Ethernet drops and IP addresses for every reader.
It was designed to precisely read barcodes, 2D codes, and Direct part marked codes using the MVTec HALCON algorithm, while integrated code quality metrics allow it to provide a code quality grade in addition to the code data.
BONUS: the IDENT sensor offers built-in advanced condition monitoring capabilities to deliver visibility into the machine and/or application environment without increasing the cost of the sensor. It can monitor:
