Duration: 60 minutes, including LIVE Q&A
How does an engineer choose the best bonding technology from the wide array of adhesive and tapes available? This presentation will highlight products that are often used as alternatives to rivets, screws and welds in assembly operations; allowing customers to take time, cost and weight out of their designs while meeting difficult challenges such as joining dissimilar materials structurally or bonding hard-to bond plastics. 3M will present the most common bonding solutions for different types of assemblies, and provide information on why those solutions are most often used. 3M has a full line of adhesives and tapes to provide design and manufacturing engineers with options for a variety of assembly and bonding challenges, thus enabling unique and attractive products.
