LIBERTY, NC—Toyota will invest an additional $2.5 billion in its newest North American assembly plant, Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina.   

LONG BEACH, CA—Toyota Motor North America will invest $27 million to increase production at its assembly plant here.

GEORGETOWN, KY—Toyota Motor North America will add 220 new positions to its production engineering division, which serves as the go-between for design and manufacturing. The additional support will increase Toyota’s capacity to use innovative engineering technology to design and build assembly plants, equipment and processes across its operations.

PLANO, TX—Toyota will invest $383 million in four of its U.S. assembly plants to support the production of four-cylinder engines, including options for hybrid electric vehicles.

LIBERTY, NC—Toyota Motor North America has chosen a 1,825-acre site here as the location for its new $1.29 billion automotive battery assembly plant.

GEORGETOWN, KY—Toyota is proposing a new $460.8 million expansion of its assembly plant here, already the company’s largest in the world.

PLANO, TX—Toyota plans to build a new billion-dollar battery manufacturing plant in the U.S. as the Japanese automaker ramps up development and production of the key components needed for hybrid and electric vehicles.

PRINCETON, IN—Toyota is investing $803 million to produce two new electric vehicle models at its assembly plant here. The project is expected to create approximately 1,400 new jobs by the end of 2023.

BUFFALO, WV—Toyota Motor Co. will invest $210 million to upgrade its assembly plant here. The project is expected to increase the plant’s capacity and create 100 new jobs.
