TULSA, OK - Tulsa's leaders helped cut the ribbon on Whirlpool’s new factory distribution center. This 800,000 square foot facility adds on to the current manufacturing plant.
TULSA, OK—Whirlpool Corp. plans to expand its assembly plant here with the addition of a new $55 million factory distribution center. The warehouse will support increased production capacity and improve efficiencies within the appliance maker’s North American supply chain.
BENTON HARBOR, MI—Whirlpool Corp. is adding 200 jobs after the Trump Administration imposed a tariff of up to 50 percent on large residential washing machines, a penalty aimed at imports from rivals Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc. The new full-time employees will work at an assembly plant in Clyde, OH.

MARION, OH—When you arrive at the largest clothes-dryer plant in the world, the first thing you see is not some whiz-bang new product, but a really old one. Inside the visitor entrance is a dryer made when the plant had just opened in 1955. The appliance was used in someone’s house for 60 years and still works.
GREENVILLE, OH—Whirlpool Corp. will expand its Factory Distribution Center here, which ships KitchenAid small appliances worldwide. The project will nearly double the space at the facility, to 650,000 square feet.
