RICHLAND, MS—Siemens Energy Inc. has added 40 jobs after completing a new assembly line for making transformers.

MEMPHIS, TN—Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. has opened a new, $200 million assembly plant here. The facility currently employs 65 people and is expected to employ 275 at full production.

PICKERING, ON—Siemens Canada has opened a new, 19,000-square-foot assembly plant here to make oil-insulated instrument transformers.

MEMPHIS, TN—Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. will build a $155 million assembly plant here to make transformers and generators.
