Marty Grimes started his sales career serving as a Regional Sales Manager, Product Development Manager, Vice-President of Sales for various manufacturing companies. In 1993 Marty partnered with Blettner Engineering and began working as a Sub Rep. During a five-year period as a Sub Rep Marty gained critical industry experience, developed a passion for independent sales and fostered invaluable relationships that all led to Assembly Solutions, Inc. (ASI) founding in 1998. ASI is a manufacturer representative firm based in Covington, KY and ASI represents industry leading principals in Kentucky, SW Ohio, SE Indiana, and central Tennessee. ASI collaborates with principles and customers on assembly and test applications: leak testing, plastic joining, assembly, riveting, material handling, automated screwdriving, and data collection.

Marty is native of Northern Kentucky and married for just over 43 years. He is a graduate of Hanover College and has been a member of MANA since 2000 and is a past President of Manufactures Agents Cincinnati (MAC). Marty & his wife Diane have three children (son Rob works in the business) and eight grandchildren. Marty’s passion is working with his customers and principal partners on daily basis and when time allows, boating the mighty Lake Cumberland following a round of golf with his family.
