Benvenuto started his career as a process engineer working in both the semiconductor and automotive industries. In 2001, he founded Performance Automation, a supplier of custom assembly automation. As his business expanded, he recognized the growing need for data acquisition and analysis in automation. In 2005, he entered a strategic merger, acquiring PrimeTest Corp., an industrial test and measurement supplier, and established PrimeTest Automation. PrimeTest Automation has since become one of the largest automation houses in Florida. Benvenuto has served on FANUC’s President Council and is serving on the Villanova Mechanical Engineering’s Advisory Board. He is a member of the South Florida Manufacturing Association and the Robotics Industries Association. Benvenuto lives in South Florida with his wife and three children.
