Tariq Masud is a senior manager with Parsons Corporation, an engineering design and construction management firm that works for federal, regional, and local government agencies as well as private customers worldwide.

Over the 29 years of his professional career, Tariq has worked for 3 organizations in the transportation, manufacturing, and heavy mechanical sectors, and has held positions of leadership and responsibility in project as well as functional management.

Tariq is a licensed Professional Engineer in USA and Canada. He is certified by the ASQ as a CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA, CCQM, and holds other professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Sustainability, Procurement, and Management Consulting (CMC). Tariq is the author of the handbook on the new ASQ certification for Construction Managers (CCQM).

Tariq has presented at several national and world conferences on the subjects of Quality, Risk, Compliance, and Construction Management of complex programs and projects, including at the World Conferences for Quality (WCQI) and at the CMAA Conferences. Tariq is the past Treasurer for the ASQ-Design & Construction Division (DCD), and also the Chair Elect for the ASQ’s Regional Chapter of Chicago NEI Region.
