Sudhi Bangalore is Stanley Black & Decker’s Vice President, Industry 4.0. He leads the global Advanced Manufacturing program, including the Manufactory 4.0, a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence in Hartford, CT. As a 175-year old industrial business, Stanley is transforming the way it performs manufacturing and distribution activities under Sudhi’s leadership. He and his team research, test and deploy several advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, IIOT, software solutions and advanced data analytics to optimize operations environments across 100+ plants worldwide.
He is a passionate and visionary leader who has innovated, built and commercialized several successful manufacturing solutions in the areas of Design Automation, Workflow Digitization and Diagnostics for companies like Rockwell Automation, Siemens and Wipro Technologies. With a vibrant global career that spans systems engineering, product management and business leadership, he brings thought leadership to solve large-scale architectural and deployment challenges.
In his last role at Wipro, Sudhi founded the Smart Manufacturing practice in 2013 with a clear focus of leveraging the IT/OT integration promise for global companies. Recognized for co-innovation of enterprise excellence, he has been a trusted advisor for many companies in their transformation journey and is a frequent speaker on the topic of practical deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies.
Sudhi earned a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering from Bangalore University, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Kent State University.
