KANSAS CITY, MO-Smith Electric Vehicles has begun training supervisors in Great Britain for its new Kansas City assembly plant, but has pushed back the scheduled start of operations by a month. Bryan Hansel, the CEO, said about a dozen employees were in Britain being trained to manage the facility, planned for a vacant building at Kansas City International Airport.
