Humanoid robots were once the stuff of science fiction. Now, robots with two arms and two legs may soon be deployed in assembly plants and warehouses. Several tech start-ups, including Agility Robotics and Apptronik here in the U.S., are set to mass-produce humanoid robots. And, some automotive OEMs, including BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai and Toyota, are testing the technology in their assembly plants.
