JOT Picks Adept Robots for Workcells

OULUNSALO, FINLAND--JOT Automation Group PLC has selected Adept Technology Inc. (San Jose, CA) to provide robotic mechanisms, controllers and machine vision systems for its automated assembly cells.

Adept SmartModules, AWC controllers and AdeptVision AVI will be integrated into JOT's flexible workcells. Electronics and telecommunications equipment manufacturers use the cells for assembly, circuit board routing, labeling, testing and packaging.
