Unitek Miyachi Opens Lab for Photonics Manufacturing
MONROVIA, CA--Unitek Miyachi Lasers has expanded its headquarters facility to include a state-of-the-art process development laboratory specifically focused on photonics manufacturing.
The lab will assist manufacturers in developing, characterizing and comparing methods, materials and equipment for the critical welding applications found in photonics assembly. It will also help manufacturers develop robust laser welding processes and provide component design assistance to ensure a high production rate and a high yield.
