HAYWARD, CA—Lithos Energy Inc. has opened a new facility here to produce modular lithium-ion batteries for use in “demanding environments” such as agriculture, construction, defense, marine and mining applications.
The 65,000-square-foot engineering facility is equipped with “enhanced pack assembly automation” to manufacture next-generation batteries at scale. It will also serve as the model for “planned colocated commercial scale factories that are to be in proximity to customer manufacturing facilities, both domestically and internationally.”
