Loctite Changes Its Name

ROCKY HILL, CTLoctite Corp. in the United States has officially changed its name to Henkel Loctite Corp. In the near future, Loctite companies worldwide will follow suit. The brand name "Loctite" will remain the same.
"By renaming Loctite Corp., and successfully renaming all Loctite companies worldwide, we are communicating to customers and staff that Loctite today is an integral part of Henkel and its Henkel Technologies business sector," says Heinrick Grün, division head of Loctite Engineering Adhesives for the Henkel Group.
The Henkel Group, headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, acquired Loctite in 1997.
