GM, Honda to Jointly Develop Next-Generation Electric Vehicles
DETROIT—General Motors and Honda are planning to jointly develop two all-new electric vehicles based on GM’s EV platform powered by its proprietary Ultium batteries. The exteriors and interiors of the new EVs will be exclusively designed by Honda.
Production of the Honda EVs will combine the development expertise of both companies. The vehicles will be manufactured at GM plants in North America.
