Additive Manufacturing Company Receives Orders for 25 Tons of Metal Parts

WILMINGTON, MA—Seurat Technologies, a supplier of metal parts made via additive manufacturing, has received orders for next year that amount to 25 tons.
The orders were placed by several global manufacturers. Applications include tooling, energy and transportation components. Qualification for the programs are underway, with high-volume manufacturing targeted for next year.
The orders, which accumulate to 25 tons of metal parts, will take all of the manufacturing capacity at Seurat’s pilot facility in Massachusetts and require expansion into additional full-scale factories. Seurat anticipates that its first factory will be around 100,000 square feet and be able to manufacture more than 500 tons of metal parts per year. It will also be based in the Boston area and be powered by 100 percent green energy.Looking for quick answers on assembly and manufacturing topics? Try Ask ASM, our new smart AI search tool. Ask ASM
