In December 2020, GE Appliances announced its new $80 million dishwasher manufacturing line at its Appliance Park plant. The state-of-the-art assembly line and product investment added more than 280 new jobs at GE's Louisville, Kentucky facility. GE's mission was twofold: to produce an improved assembly line through robotics and automation, factoring that the commitment to improving the process would render a better product.
