SUN PRAIRIE, WI—Electronics manufacturing services provider Pro-Active Engineering has added a pair of Mycronic DX100 high-speed pick-and-place machines to its assembly line here, increasing its capacity by up to 40 percent.
“The two machines have been configured in a synergy line and are capable of placing up to 80 thousand parts per hour,” says Paul Schwanbeck, vice president of Pro-Active.
Over the next five years, the company plans to double its manufacturing footprint, adding space for additional engineers, rapid prototyping, 3D printing and other services.
Pro-Active has also hired 10 new employees in the past two months and hopes to take on an additional 10 to 20 employees this year.
