The ASSEMBLY Show 2022, held in Rosemont, Illinois, was celebrated as the 10th annual ASSEMBLY trade show devoted exclusively to assembly technologies, processes, products, education, and networking.

ASSEMBLY Magazine's three editors: John Sprovieri, Chief Editor; Austin Weber, Senior Editor, both of whom have been journalists with the magazine for 20-plus years; and Jennifer Pierce, Multimedia Editor and the host of ASSEMBLY Audible, put their heads together to recap ASSEMBLY Show 2022 highlights. The editors discuss the show's keynote presentation, ASSEMBLY's Plant of the Year Award, which new products stood out on the show floor, who had the most exciting booth, and how things have changed over the years. Listen to the Editor's Round-Up for the latest in assembly technology, processes, and products.

In 2022, ASSEMBLY recognized Assembly Plant of the Year: Continuous Improvement Culture Thrives at Brose at The ASSEMBLY Show. Hear our editor's thoughts on the award presentation:

The ASSEMBLY Show has New Product of the Year Award Winners every year who are voted in by the show participants. The editor also has their favorites. Hear which product technologies caught John, Austin, and Jennifer's eye this year. What makes a product stand out on the show floor? With so much excellence at the show, it's hard to narrow it down, but our impressions of products that really caught our eye.

With so much to take in at the show and such a wide variety of products and assembly technologies, it's nearly impossible to choose favorites. But according to our editors' round-up, here's who had the most exciting booths at the ASSEMBLY Show.

We close the editor's round-up discussion by posing a question about change. What has changed the most? From speed in robotics and automation to data collection and intuitive interfaces for assemblers. Learn about what has changed the most and leave inspired for what's to come at The ASSEMBLY Show 2023.
