A U.S. Record Set with More than 364,000 New Manufacturing Jobs in 2022

According to longtime ASSEMBLY Magazine columnist Harry Moser in Manufacturing Projects for EV Batteries and Semiconductors Catapult Reshoring, 2022 was a record year in the U.S., with more than 364,000 new manufacturing jobs created. That's a record high, a 53 percent increase from 2021.

Moser cites a combination of government incentives, the surge in manufacturing projects for EV batteries, and semiconductor chip investments as the top reasons for the drastic increase.
