Coghlin Companies Inc. Acquires DCI

WORCESTER, MA--Design Components Inc. will now be known as DCI Automation Inc., due to its acquisition by Coghlin Companies Inc. DCI will share space with another Coghlin Companies subsidiary, Columbia Tech, in Worcester.

John DeCarlo, a principal of DCI, will remain with the company as vice president and general manager of the new subsidiary. DeCarlo says, "This is an excellent development. It allows DCI to focus on establishing strong customer and distributor support, and building relationships. This acquisition will provide DCI with excellent growth and revenue opportunities."

James W. Coghlin Sr., CEO of Coghlin Companies Inc., agrees, "There is enormous synergy between Columbia Tech and DCI Automation."
