JACKSON CENTER, OH—Airstream has unveiled the largest expansion in the company’s 88-year history. The travel trailer manufacturer is about to open a 723,000-square-foot factory, which will allow it to double its production.

JACKSON CENTER, OH--After delivering a record number of RVs in 2017, Airstream is expanding production to meet growing demand for its silver travel trailers. The company is investing $40 million and hiring 300 employees for its new production plant here.

NAMPA, ID—Heartland Recreational Vehicles is looking to hire more than 120 employees for its new assembly plant here. Production is expected to begin in March, with eight to 10 units being built per day.

MIDDLEBURY, IN—Winnebago Industries is planning to invest $5.4 million to boost production at its four assembly plants in Indiana. The manufacturer could create close to 150 new jobs by 2019.

HUNTSVILLE, AL—Polaris Industries will manufacture off-road vehicles at a new 600,000-square-foot assembly plant here, creating up to 2,000 new jobs.

HEMET, CA—Forest River Inc., a recreational vehicle manufacturer, has purchased an old factory here for a new assembly plant. The factory will begin production in early 2015 and is expected to employ 200 to 300 people at full production.
