TUCSON, AZ—Raytheon Missile Systems and its Norway-based partner will arm the U.S. Navy’s new littoral combat ships with a long-range surface attack missile, in a program that could be worth nearly $850 million, reports the Arizona Daily Star.
FORT WORTH, TX—Lockheed Martin delivered its 66th F-35 this month, hitting its delivery target for the year and boosting its production level by more than 40 percent compared with last year. Lockheed is ramping up production of the F-35 and plans to hire an additional 1,800 workers by 2020.

WASHINGTON—The Pentagon has awarded Oshkosh Defense a $30 billion contract to build nearly 55,000 joint light tactical vehicles for the U.S. Army and Marine Corps over the next 25 years.
CAMDEN, NJ—The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has awarded defense contractor Lockheed Martin another $107 million in tax credits over the next 10 years. The defense contractor will use the tax savings to defray costs of two R&D labs the company has proposed to open here.
