BALDWYN, MS—To accommodate an increase in production, reclining furniture manufacturer Southern Motion is expanding operations at its assembly plant here. The project represents a $600,000 corporate investment and will create 60 jobs over the next 12 months.
VERONA, MS—United Furniture Industries will invest $2.75 million to locate a new assembly operation at an old factory here. The facility is expected to create at least 200 new jobs.
WALKER, MI—Irwin Seating Co. will spend $1.9 million to expand its assembly plant here. The company makes seating for theaters, auditoriums and other venues.
