TULSA, Okla. — Mecad USA said it will locate its U.S. operations at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa in a move expected to create nearly 300 jobs in northeastern Oklahoma.
PRYOR, OK—Los Angeles-based electric vehicle company Canoo announced last week that it will build its U.S. manufacturing plant here, a facility expected to employ 2,000 people.
TULSA, OK—Whirlpool Corp. plans to expand its assembly plant here with the addition of a new $55 million factory distribution center. The warehouse will support increased production capacity and improve efficiencies within the appliance maker’s North American supply chain.
TULSA, OK—Muncie Power Products Inc. could create 100 new jobs here over the next three to five years. The company makes mobile power equipment for the trucking industry.
OKLAHOMA CITY—Baker-Hughes Oilfield Operations Inc. is set to open a new manufacturing center here that will create 475 jobs over the next five years. The company plans to invest between $128 million and $150 million on the facility, which will be among company’s first to incorporate high-tech robotics.
STILLWATER, OK—ASCO Aerospace USA is transforming an old boat engine factory here to a state-of-the-art assembly plant to make parts for commercial jetliners.
