VALLEY CITY, ND—Deere & Co. has begun construction of a $20 million expansion of its assembly plant here. Up to 100 new jobs are expected with the expansion.
COLUMBIA, SC—Automotive supplier JTEKT Corp. is spending $130 million to expand its bearing manufacturing facility here, creating 175 new jobs over the next three years.
RENTON, WA—Boeing will build a third assembly line for its 737 MAX jet family alongside one of the two existing lines at its assembly plant here. The company will hire hundreds of works within the next five years.
DETROIT—Chrysler plans to invest $240 million and create 1,250 jobs in Southeast Michigan over the next several months, adding a third crew at its truck assembly plant in Warren and bringing an engine plant in Detroit back on line.
