ST. CHARLES, IL—Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. has reshored production of gear motors from China to its assembly plant here. “We can produce them better, faster and cheaper,” says Bison Chairman Ronald Bullock.

MERIWETHER, GA—Tier 1 automotive supplier Mando Corp. is investing $200 million to build a new assembly plant here. Expected to employ 426, the facility will make electric power steering gears and anti-lock brakes.
MONTGOMERY, AL—Automotive supplier DAS North America is investing $50 million to build an assembly plant here to supply seat parts for Hyundai and Kia. The facility will employ 210 people.
DUBLIN, GA—Dinex Group, a manufacturer of automotive emissions control and exhaust systems , will create 250 jobs and invest $15 million to build a new assembly plant here.
AVE MARIA, FL—Arthrex, a manufacturer of orthopedic surgery devices, is building a new, $33 million assembly plant here that will employ 400 to 500 people by 2016.
DURHAM, NC—AW North Carolina, which assembles automatic transmissions for Toyota, is planning to increase production at its plant here. The company plans to add up to 250 new jobs and $14 million in new equipment.
