WASHINGTON—Indiana added 4,300 manufacturing jobs in June, the most of any state. Rounding out the top five states for creating manufacturing jobs are California, Georgia, Wisconsin and Texas.
WAUKESHA, WI—Husco International, a manufacturer of hydraulic components, will invest $45 million to expand its assembly plant here, creating more than 150 jobs by 2015.
NEW BERLIN, WI—J.W. Winco Inc., a manufacturer of industrial machine components, is installing a green roof system this month at its assembly plant here. Benefits include recycling of rainwater and savings on cooling costs.
MUKWONAGO, WI—AptarGroup Inc., a manufacturer of dispensers for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and consumer products, will invest $50 million in new equipment for its assembly plant and R&D facility here.
EVANSTON, IL—Following several years of losses, industrial employment in Wisconsin increased by a half percent over the past 12 months. Wisconsin gained 3,896 industrial jobs between July 2011 and July 2012.
