GM to Invest $21 Million in Flint

FLINT, MI-GM will invest more than $21 million in its Flint Assembly Plant to produce the 2011 Chevrolet light-duty crew cab. The investment will include renovating the existing heavy-duty assembly process and new machinery and tooling for light-duty trucks. MORE

Report: Missouri's Auto Industry Poised for Growth

CLAYCOMO, MO-The Missouri Automotive Jobs Task Force concluded that although the state’s automotive industry has faced stiff challenges in recent years, it is poised for future growth.
