MESA, AZ-SolFocus, a California-based solar energy company, has expanded its plant here. The facility has increased its capacity to make solar glass reflectors by 15 times. The new plant will make high-precision mirrored-glass reflectors that are used to concentrate sunlight on photovoltaic cells that produce electric current when exposed to sunlight. MORE

Medical Device Maker Boost Security at Assembly Plant

WARSAW, IN-Authorities say that police presence has been beefed up at a Zimmer Inc. assembly plant here, following a personnel matter involving a Zimmer employee. Sgt. Chad Hill, spokesman for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, said Zimmer had to reprimand and suspend a worker. As a result of the personnel matter, his office was notified Monday afternoon and security remains heightened at the Building No. 19 facility, in the 1500 block of West Center Street. MORE
