The book covers laser-engineered net shaping, 3D printing, fused-deposition modeling, laminated object manufacturing, stereolithography and selective laser sintering.

The book was written by Kenneth G. Cooper, an engineer at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (Huntsville, AL).
