Sales of Surge Suppressors to Exceed $1 Billion
NATICK, MA--North American sales of surge suppressors are expected to grow 10.5 percent annually during the next 5 years.
According to a study by Venture Development Corp., North American sales of surge suppressors will increase from $690.4 million in 1999 to $1.13 billion in 2004.
Sales of line-cord style suppressors will increase the fastest, growing at a rate of 11.8 percent per year. Line-cord suppressors accounted for nearly 60 percent of surge suppressor sales in 1999.
