MONTGOMERY, AL—Denmark-based Mountain Top Industries, a manufacturer of aluminum roll covers for pickup trucks, recently announced its expansion into the U.S. market with the opening of a 73,000 square-foot manufacturing facility here. The new state-of-the-art facility will include $13.3 million in capital investment and support 90 full-time jobs with an annual payroll of $3.39 million.

“Mountain Top has 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, and the new facility will be an addition to existing production facilities in Europe and Asia. We are very honored that we have been selected as Mountain Top’s first North American plant,” says Montgomery Mayor L. Steven Reed. “We are sure this will be the first of many OEM customers in North America. We stand ready to support them in every way.”
