NASHVILLE, TN—Flexco Products, a producer of tubing and steel and aluminum fabrication, plans to establish manufacturing and distribution operations in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The $17.5 million project is expected to create 60 jobs in Lawrence County.

The Tennessee plant will be the company’s second U.S. location and will be centrally located to better serve Flexco’s customers with more efficient production and shipping times. The fabrication company serves a diverse array of industries, and its manufacturing capabilities expand to more than 30,000 original equipment manufacturer products.

“Flexco’s expansion to Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, has been facilitated by Mayor Blake Lay’s proactive approach to the growing manufacturing industry in Lawrenceburg. Flexco’s Lawrenceburg manufacturing facility will serve as a central hub to the southeastern U.S,” Tom Jellison, chief executive officer, Flexco Products of Tennessee said.

“Companies are attracted to our state’s exceptional workforce and strong business climate, but it is Tennessee’s central location that reinforces why business is done here. We are ready and able to support Flexco’s newest distribution and manufacturing facility and thank this company for choosing the Volunteer State,” noted TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.
