KANSAS CITY, KS—Window and door manufacturer Marvin will build a new $76.5 million assembly plant here, bringing 600 jobs to the area.

The 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility will be built on the site of the former Woodlands greyhound racetrack.

Marvin hopes to have the new space completed in 2025, employing about 100 people full time by that point. By 2028, Marvin expects to employ a 600-person workforce in the area.

“Marvin has been on a significant growth trajectory over the past six years,” Marvin CEO and chair of the board Paul Marvin said. “Investing in additional facilities not only is strategic for continued growth but also will help meet current and anticipated short-term demand in the marketplace.”

After opening the new factory, the family-owned company will operate in 17 cities across North America, including its 2 million-square-foot headquarters in Minnesota.
